Restorative Care
Dr. Kathryn Jodry’s Richardson, TX dental practice can help you restore your smile to its full potential.
Our office uses state-of-the-art cosmetic procedures to restore broken-down, decayed or failing teeth to full beauty and health. Whether you need fillings, dental crowns, dental bridges, dentures, dental implants, or root canal treatment, Dr. Jodry’s office can offer the latest treatments and technologies.
Fillings
Dr. Jodry will use fillings to repair decayed portions of any teeth, as well as cracked, broken teeth or teeth that have simply been worn down. Teeth can be filled with gold, porcelain, silver amalgam or composite resin fillings.
Dental Crowns
Our Richardson dental office can take care of any of your teeth that need a dental crown or cap. A crown is often recommended to:
- Cover a tooth with a large filling
- Attach to a bridge
- Protect a weak tooth
- Restore a tooth that’s broken
Dental Bridge
A dental bridge is used to replace a missing tooth to avoid teeth shifting out of position. Bridges are cemented onto the teeth on both sides of the missing tooth. Unlike dentures, dental bridges cannot be removed.
Dentures
Our office offers a variety of dentures that can help you restore your ability to eat, speak and smile comfortably. Our dentures will enhance your appearance and prevent any further dental issues.
Dental Implants
Dr. Jodry will insert dental implants to replace any missing teeth. Posts will be placed into the jawbone to provide a stable foundation for fixed or removable teeth. Dental implants closely mimic the appearance and function of your natural teeth while also being comfortable.
Periodontal Care
It’s important to prevent gum disease as early as possible and Dr. Jodry is committed to screening for the first signs of gum disease to prevent any further periodontal care.
However, if you already have gum disease, our office will advise you on the different medications and treatments for your particular situation.
Remember that if left untreated, gum disease can lead to bigger health issues, such as respiratory disease, diabetes, and heart disease.
